Charlotte turns One! {Fresno Childhood Pictures}

It has been a great privilege and joy to follow both of these beautiful sisters since birth. This session was to celebrate Charlotte’s first year, and although she was at the tail end of battling a cold, she still photographed as cute as ever.

Happy belated Birthday Charlotte, I cannot wait for next time!

Girl Power {Fresno Child and Family Photography}

I was delighted to get a phone call from my Pismo Beach neighbor that I befriended while living on the Central Coast. Mom had good news that she was coming to Fresno for a weekend visit and wanted me to capture family pictures of her and the girls while they were here. Seeing the three of them on such a beautiful Saturday afternoon was a real treat, Miranda (9) was just as sweet and easy going as I remember, and Madison (3) was more energetic and opinionated than ever before.

Keeping a busy three year old’s attention while trying to get natural smiles from her is not the easiest thing in the world. We had to act fast, give her breaks, and be quite silly to keep Madison entertained. In the end the girls enjoyed it so much they are looking forward to next time. The resulting images capture a slice of their childhood that I am sure will bring back fond memories as they grow older.

Growing Family {Fresno baby and toddler photographer}

I have had the honor of photographing both 2 1/2-year-old Audrey and 11-month-old Braylen as sweet little newborns. Now they are growing fast and it was time for a family session. Instead of me traveling to the Bay Area to see them, they decided to come down to Fresno. The opportunity to host this amazing family was so much fun, and we got to take advantage of the beautiful morning light inside, the bright sunny day in the park and even the golden sunset in the evening. I included a few bonus images in this sneak peek just for Mom (and the fact I could not resist showing you all the cuteness we captured together). Enjoy!

Baby Lizette {Fresno Newborn Photographer}

Lizette’s photo session was a rare treat. Dad made a special vegetarian lunch for us which I thoroughly enjoyed. And once we got little Lizette into her deep sleep we were able to create some amazing images together. Thank you Mom and Dad, you are truly blessed.

Yummy Campbell {Clovis Baby Photographer}

Sometimes I get present to the feeling that I have the perfect “job”. I show up to capture the happy moments of anticipation, birth of a new baby, and the adventures of growing families. My heart jumps in excitement when I get the call from a past client saying “I am pregnant again!” Meeting a new baby of a family I have already gotten to know brings me so much joy. I have had the opportunity to meet baby #2 for many of my most beloved clients this year. This family is no exception. I photographed Liam as a newborn more than two years ago, and he just keeps getting more and more handsome every time I see him.

Here is big brother Liam proudly introducing baby Campbell to us on his 8th day of life. Campbell was nearly 10 1/2 pounds at birth, and as Mommy so eloquently pointed out, he was their “small” baby! What sweet boys they both are, and I am sure mom and dad are beaming with joy. Congratulations you two!

A Marin Delight {California Professional Family Photography}

Meet 1 year old Anastasia and her parents. I had a wonderful time with this family last weekend in Marin. Stasia and I share our birth date, and she turned 1 year just a couple of weeks ago. Their home is a true dream for a natural light photographer with huge floor to ceiling windows flooding the house with the most beautiful soft light; I was in heaven. Great light, an exquisite home for the background, and charming subjects make for AMAZING photos!

Thank you Mom and Dad for the opportunity to create these memories for your family. You were wonderful hosts and subjects.

Gerber Baby

Meet 10 month old Allie. Although it was her first time taking professional pictures, she certainly proved to be a natural in front of the camera, letting her personality shine! In the first image she is sitting in my newest prop, a wooden Gerber crate found in an antique shop. Allie modeled it perfectly, look at how cute she is with her foot hanging out the edge. She makes the perfect Gerber baby!

Lovely Lauren

Here is sweet Lauren at 7 months old. I photographed her when she was a smiling newborn earlier this year, and I was so delighted to see her getting so big. I have kindled a great friendship with her parents, and I can say first hand she comes from a household of laughter. She is surly going to grow up with a great sense of humor and shining personality!

Expectations of Hannah

I took a quick run up to the Sierra foothills with this wonderful family last week. I have been photographing them since before their son Cade was born. They are expecting their second next month, a little girl this time. We took pictures at the beach over a year ago when Cade was just 8 months. I cannot believe how much he has grown as and is now a VERY active 2 year old! I have had many adventures with this family, and I am looking forward to our next when Baby Hannah is born!

Vido and Donilo

Meet baby Vido and big brother Donilo. I was fortunate enough to photograph Donilo less than two years ago when he was a wee newborn, and he gave me one of the greatest smiles then. He certainly performed again as we were photographing little brother too. He sat so carefully while holding baby Vido, holding his head and not moving an inch. On top of it all, he gave me the sweetest little smile. It is difficult to get children twice his age to do this, but Donilo was a pro, so proud of baby brother! Congratulations Mom and Dad, you are blessed with two very sweet little boys.
