Henry is Back {Fresno Baby Photography}

I am wrapping up all the little details before I leave on my big trip to Australia and New Zealand for two months. My head is spinning with so much that still needs to be done, I am not only going on a long journey Down Under, but I am also making a big move. Sorting, packing, organizing, packing some more… making sure everything is set before I move on Saturday, and leave on my big trip a week later. It is quite the task, all this while still trying to run my business, photographing a few last sessions before I leave.

Here is 3 1/2 month old Henry showing us how cute he can be with his big smile and sweet looks of curiosity. I photographed him last December as a newborn and he is still O-So-Cute! I look forward to seeing him in all his sweetness when he can proudly sit up on his own. Thank you Mom and Dad for honoring me to capture such special moments for your family!

Charlotte turns One! {Fresno Childhood Pictures}

It has been a great privilege and joy to follow both of these beautiful sisters since birth. This session was to celebrate Charlotte’s first year, and although she was at the tail end of battling a cold, she still photographed as cute as ever.

Happy belated Birthday Charlotte, I cannot wait for next time!

Girl Power {Fresno Child and Family Photography}

I was delighted to get a phone call from my Pismo Beach neighbor that I befriended while living on the Central Coast. Mom had good news that she was coming to Fresno for a weekend visit and wanted me to capture family pictures of her and the girls while they were here. Seeing the three of them on such a beautiful Saturday afternoon was a real treat, Miranda (9) was just as sweet and easy going as I remember, and Madison (3) was more energetic and opinionated than ever before.

Keeping a busy three year old’s attention while trying to get natural smiles from her is not the easiest thing in the world. We had to act fast, give her breaks, and be quite silly to keep Madison entertained. In the end the girls enjoyed it so much they are looking forward to next time. The resulting images capture a slice of their childhood that I am sure will bring back fond memories as they grow older.

Growing Family {Fresno baby and toddler photographer}

I have had the honor of photographing both 2 1/2-year-old Audrey and 11-month-old Braylen as sweet little newborns. Now they are growing fast and it was time for a family session. Instead of me traveling to the Bay Area to see them, they decided to come down to Fresno. The opportunity to host this amazing family was so much fun, and we got to take advantage of the beautiful morning light inside, the bright sunny day in the park and even the golden sunset in the evening. I included a few bonus images in this sneak peek just for Mom (and the fact I could not resist showing you all the cuteness we captured together). Enjoy!

Sometimes I get present to the feeling that I have the perfect “job”. I show up to capture the happy moments of anticipation, birth of a new baby, and the adventures of growing families. My heart jumps in excitement when I get the call from a past client saying “I am pregnant again!” Meeting a new baby of a family I have already gotten to know brings me so much joy. I have had the opportunity to meet baby #2 for many of my most beloved clients this year. This family is no exception. I photographed Liam as a newborn more than two years ago, and he just keeps getting more and more handsome every time I see him.

Here is big brother Liam proudly introducing baby Campbell to us on his 8th day of life. Campbell was nearly 10 1/2 pounds at birth, and as Mommy so eloquently pointed out, he was their “small” baby! What sweet boys they both are, and I am sure mom and dad are beaming with joy. Congratulations you two!

Baby Aiyanna {Fresno Family Photographer}

Meet 3 day old Aiyanna and her big brother Mekhi. I generally wait a bit longer before taking newborn photographs, but certainly enjoyed having such a sleepy new baby in front of my camera. She was the perfect model and they were a wonderful family to capture memories of.

At 7 months old this is Laci’s first time in front of my camera, and she was a real star. She has amazing eyes that instantly captured me. What a precious little girl she is.

Here is sweet Lauren at 7 months old. I photographed her when she was a smiling newborn earlier this year, and I was so delighted to see her getting so big. I have kindled a great friendship with her parents, and I can say first hand she comes from a household of laughter. She is surly going to grow up with a great sense of humor and shining personality!

Roman Cousins

Meet 13 month old Scarlett, cousin to Luca, whom I had the joy of photographing earlier this year. Scarlett and her family are visiting California from Rome, Italy. When they saw Luca’s first photographs Mom knew she wanted me to photograph her beautiful girl too. For being such an active toddler, Scarlett was quite easy to photograph, look at all the amazing images we were able to capture. Who can resist those wonderful curly locks of hair, amazing eyelashes, and charming smile?

Mom and Dad invited me to come visit Rome to in the future, and I will certainly take them up on their offer! I have been to Italy in the past, and would love to visit again. Perhaps next year? And maybe I can photograph some more amazing Roman children while there!

Ethan has grown

Meet Ethan, a repeat performer in-front of my camera. I first photographed him as a newborn last September and was delighted to come back and see how big he has grown. Next to newborns, newly sitting babies are my favorite to photograph, they show off their personality and are a blast to be around. Ethan did not disappoint, I fell in love with his amazing baby blues, his smile with those two lower teeth showing through, and his sweet demeanor. It was a pleasure as usual mom and dad, Ethan is so fortunate to have you both.
