Sonoma Adventure

Almost two weeks ago I took a trip up to Sonoma County to photograph this special family for the 4th time.  Trying to take advantage of the beautiful scenery of their area, dad took us to this lovely park in Petaluma.  The only problem, we had to do the entire session while sliding down the side of a hill, and it was a good little hike to get to our magical spot.  I am impressed with Mom’s serious stamina at 34 weeks along, not to mention Joey at 22 months who took the hike like a champ.  That morning was full of adventure and I am sure unforgettable for us all.  We all agreed the newborn session next month will be in the comfort of their home.

Aimee Bunting – Jamie – We had a wonderful time having you come up and stay with us. The pictures turned out beautifully! Our favorite is the last one. Thank goodness you thought of that great idea on our way out of the “park.” Antonio especially likes the one of us laying down on the blanket. We all look so calm and relaxed. You even got the picnic basket and fruit in it – yeah:) I am REALLY looking forward to seeing the entire gallery.

Conchita – Amazing imagery! There’s nothing loving parents won’t do for their children’s benefit! For example, I know a family that has filed for bankruptcy and deeded their home back to the lender, but rather than tell their special needs child about their situation, they lovingly shielded him from it, and even went so far as to sneak back into their abandoned home on Father’s Day to use the pool, pretending as if nothing is out of sorts! Now that is love, no?
