A week ago I was in Modesto spending time with my niece, Angie. She just had her 7th birthday and unfortunately I had to miss her party. To make it up to her I promised we would go on a special date of her choosing. Angie choose bowling as our activity and invited her little sister, Isabell and Grandpa to come along with us. While we were not the best bowlers, the process was so much fun that we forgot to check to see who won.
Grandpa and I enjoyed watching the girls gain confidence over the course of the two games we played together. It was such a sweet evening spent with a 3 special family members. After a successful night, I’ve decided to make the birthday outings a tradition with the girls. Isabell’s turn will come in August when she turns 6. We photographed much of the evening to forever seal this memory in our minds. It turned out to be a wonderful gift for us all.
Happy Birthday once again my sweet Angeli, I love you bunches!

Yumm Yumm chocolate cake!

Nice form Angie.

Grandpa and Isabell celebrating the spare she got. She used the bowling ball “slide” to help her out.
