Excited for Baby Boy {Fresno Maternity and Family Photography}

I was delighted to hear this family was expecting a little boy and they wanted me to photograph another set of very special moments in their lives. I first pointed my camera at them when they were pregnant with their first, beautiful McKenna, who I can hardly believe is already 3. She is now an active toddler, and was quite the ham for my camera this time around.

This sneak peek is a little late, as they just had their darling little boy. I have already had the pleasure of photographing him, and I cannot wait to show him off. Fortunately, I have wonderful and understanding clients like this family. I have had to put everything on hold for the month of December while I adjust to my new life with a foster daughter that has many unexpected challenges. I hope to get back into the swing of things soon!

I have been following this sweet family since 3 year old Liam was a newborn. Watching these brothers grow reminds me of how fast time passes, so I can hardly believe that Campbell just celebrated his first birthday. What handsome boys full of personality and charm. It was such a joy to spend time with them again.

I have had the great fortune of fostering friendships with the families I have photographed over the years, and it brings me so much pleasure getting to know them outside the context of pictures. This delightful family is one of those special clients. Meeting them when Lauren was born nearly two years ago, we connected right away. Mom has a sweet, easy going and happy demeanor, and Dad always keeps me laughing with his quick whit. There was no hope for Lauren to be anything but a happy child with this comedy duo as parents.

I have not seen Mila since she was a wee newborn nearly a year and a half ago. It was great being able to photograph her again, although I must admit she wore me out. She kept me on my toes and proved herself to be the most active toddler I have had the privilege of photographing. She brought out all her antics for the session, making each of these images prized, and bringing me a few giggles from her blooper pictures too.

Getting Big! {Fresno Fall Family Portraits}

It has been wonderful following this family for the past few years. I have had the opportunity to photograph both Alex and baby Owen as newborns, and I can hardly believe how big they have gotten. They were the 6th mini session I did this season, and as usual, had a wonderful time with them. I am thrilled with the images I have been capturing during these short sessions. I will for sure be doing more in the future!

Meet handsome little Luke at only one week old. I first photographed his sister, Lilly, as a newborn over 2 years ago. She was so easy to work with I could not imagine little brother Luke could top her. But somehow he was just as wonderful and easygoing, and so handsome. It seemed no matter what I did, he just kept sleeping, making photographing him a breeze. Mommy and Daddy are so fortunate to have such sweet, well behaved and beautiful children.

I have done so many photo sessions with this wonderful family I actually lost count. This year’s fall family pictures was all Mom’s idea, getting them captured in their vineyard and around the freshly harvested bins of raisins. The girls are getting older and clearly have their own ideas of what they will do, keeping me on my toes and making every image well earned. Thanks guys, I had a great time hanging out with you as usual!

Meet 7 day old Anna, the second newborn I have photographed for this family. Big brother Brady was so gentle holding and kissing her, and she was such an easy going joy to photograph, I could not have asked for a better session. Congratulations Mom and Dad on the birth of your sweetie girl!

Here is another amazing couple that I have had the honor of photographing multiple times. I photographed 2 1/2 year old Lilly when she was a wee newborn. Now they are expecting their second, a boy. I had a blast photographing them on a very warm morning in Downtown Clovis. Lilly was such a good sport and mommy looks as beautiful as ever! I cannot wait to meet the newest member of their family when he arrives.

Sasha turns One! {Fresno family and child photographer}

Here are one of my favorite families, whom I have had the privilege of photographing seven times in the last three years. The special occasion for this session was Sasha’s one year birthday. These two girls are growing up so beautifully. During the session Sasha made my day when she walked over to me while I was trying to take her picture, and gave me the sweetest little hug. :) Happy 1st Birthday Sasha!
