New Year’s Baby {Fresno Newborn Photographer}

Introducing handsome baby Keegan, he was 8 days old when we first captured these precious pictures. Born on New Years day, he is nearly a month now. I am still playing catch up, but a sweet face like this is well worth the wait! I am proud of Keegan as he was extremely patient with us and his big sister McKenna too, whom was delighted to show him off to me. Congratulations Mom and Dad, it’s clear you two make the most amazing children.

Baby Henry is clearly the star of this family. At only 4 1/2 months old, I can see that he has captured the hearts of everyone. Henry lives far away with his parents and they were in town visiting for the holidays. Mom wanted each of her beloved family members to have some fun photos with him, and asked me to capture these special moments. What an honor it was, and I am so proud of Henry for being a real trouper with all the wardrobe changes.

I have been following this sweet family since 3 year old Liam was a newborn. Watching these brothers grow reminds me of how fast time passes, so I can hardly believe that Campbell just celebrated his first birthday. What handsome boys full of personality and charm. It was such a joy to spend time with them again.

Here is a very long awaited blog post. Meet baby Riley when she was just 6 days old. It was during her session when I received the infamous phone call that has changed my life, allowing me to welcome a little one into my home. Because of the recent changes I have faced, little Riley’s pictures have had an unexpected delay. So you can imagine how thrilled I am to finally get the time to share these precious images with you. In these few early pictures of Riley, I can already see a bit of her personality shining through!

I have had the great fortune of fostering friendships with the families I have photographed over the years, and it brings me so much pleasure getting to know them outside the context of pictures. This delightful family is one of those special clients. Meeting them when Lauren was born nearly two years ago, we connected right away. Mom has a sweet, easy going and happy demeanor, and Dad always keeps me laughing with his quick whit. There was no hope for Lauren to be anything but a happy child with this comedy duo as parents.

I have not seen Mila since she was a wee newborn nearly a year and a half ago. It was great being able to photograph her again, although I must admit she wore me out. She kept me on my toes and proved herself to be the most active toddler I have had the privilege of photographing. She brought out all her antics for the session, making each of these images prized, and bringing me a few giggles from her blooper pictures too.

What a delight it is to photograph a brand new life like 6 day old Tallulah Moon. Take a look at those kissable cheeks, full locks of hair and sweet little smirks, enough to melt anyone’s heart she is in the presence of. When I had the opportunity to hold her, I could hardly bring myself to let her go because she is such a snuggle baby. Congratulations Mom and Dad, you have so much to be proud of!

Getting Big! {Fresno Fall Family Portraits}

It has been wonderful following this family for the past few years. I have had the opportunity to photograph both Alex and baby Owen as newborns, and I can hardly believe how big they have gotten. They were the 6th mini session I did this season, and as usual, had a wonderful time with them. I am thrilled with the images I have been capturing during these short sessions. I will for sure be doing more in the future!

I was very excited to see Elliott and his parents for a mini session. I first photographed him a year and a half ago when he was a newborn, amazing us all at nearly 12 pounds at birth. He has grown to be a joyful toddler, now amazing me with his big blue eyes.

A Precious Jewel {Central California Newborn Baby Photographer}

Meet beautiful baby Jewel on her 11th day of life. She has just as much hair as big brother Jaydon did as a newborn, and she looks so much like him too. As their first girl, Mommy was sure to make sure she was dolled up for her big photo day. But from the moment I walked into their house Mom and Dad both commented that she was having an ‘off’ day. She indeed proved to be a bit fussy and did not appreciate being moved around at all. Yet, despite the time it took trying to get her and keep her asleep, we were able to get fabulous pictures. I am in LOVE the first image of her smiling wide awake in Mommy’s hands. It was one of the very last images we took, and capturing it made the entire day well worth every moment.
