Excited for Baby Boy {Fresno Maternity and Family Photography}

I was delighted to hear this family was expecting a little boy and they wanted me to photograph another set of very special moments in their lives. I first pointed my camera at them when they were pregnant with their first, beautiful McKenna, who I can hardly believe is already 3. She is now an active toddler, and was quite the ham for my camera this time around.

This sneak peek is a little late, as they just had their darling little boy. I have already had the pleasure of photographing him, and I cannot wait to show him off. Fortunately, I have wonderful and understanding clients like this family. I have had to put everything on hold for the month of December while I adjust to my new life with a foster daughter that has many unexpected challenges. I hope to get back into the swing of things soon!

This gorgeous mommy-to-be was 37 weeks along when we captured her pregnancy pictures. With her baby girl about to arrive in a couple of short weeks so she is all belly. What a joy it is to meet new families, and watch as their life’s are enriched with a baby. I cannot wait to meet this little one!

I spent a lovely morning with this beautiful mommy-to-be, photographing her belly in and around her home as the backdrop. We captured some wonderful images to show baby Riley how much she was loved even before she made her appearance into the world.

Here is another amazing couple that I have had the honor of photographing multiple times. I photographed 2 1/2 year old Lilly when she was a wee newborn. Now they are expecting their second, a boy. I had a blast photographing them on a very warm morning in Downtown Clovis. Lilly was such a good sport and mommy looks as beautiful as ever! I cannot wait to meet the newest member of their family when he arrives.

Meet 2 year old Jaydon and his parents. It was his first time seeing the ocean and playing at the beach. He could not get enough of the water and if it was not for mom and dad holding him back, he would have dove head first into the ocean.

I first photographed curious Jaydon as a newborn and was delighted to see what a handsome little boy he has become. When mommy told me she was expecting a second we jumped on the opportunity to do her maternity session at the beach. The resulting images are stunning. I love doing outdoor maternity sessions in new and different locations, and am so inspired when these mommies allow me to fully embrace the natural settings.

I love it when my maternity clients want to go on an adventure outdoors to do their photo session, and it does not get any more amazing than this! Meet mother-to-be Krissy, a fellow professional photographer that looked high and low for that perfect person to capture her special moments. It is such an honor to be her “chosen one” and I hope I did not disappoint. We had a great time together, getting to know one another on the drive up to Shaver Lake. She is so beautiful, was easy to work with, posed with her belly perfectly, and the love between her and her husband and their expectations of baby was clear. She was a dream client. I cannot wait to photograph their little boy when he arrives!

Adoration {Fresno CA Maternity Photographer}

What a sweet story I witnessed while photographing this couple. A few days before this photo session Mommy contacted me with the news that she got Bell’s Palsy, a form of facial paralysis, the week before. Most people would cancel the photo session if something like this happened, but she was not about to let it stop her. They had waited so long to get pregnant, she did not want to miss the opportunity to capture her beautiful belly. So off to the park we went, and she photographed wonderfully despite not having control of the muscles on the right side of her face.

Even more incredible was the devotion, love and adoration her husband showed towards her. He gently helped her, open and close her right eye, and part her lips just so, for the pictures. It was the sweetest thing I have seen in a very long time. Congratulations you two, and thank you for allowing me to share your story.

I first met this wonderful mother when she had her now two year old daughter Kaelani. I love seeing families grow and prosper as they welcome new additions into their lives. I am sure this baby will be just as rewarding as their first.

Just two days before I left California I had the honor of photographing this beautiful mommy. We are connected together by a large network of friends, and it was great getting to spend some one-on-one time together for the first time. We drove up into the foothills and stumbled upon this little creek to dip our feet in, which made a great backdrop for pictures. She is expecting her first, a boy, as soon as I get back to the U.S. She was so proud of her belly and very excited about the joys it will soon bring. I cannot wait to meet her little guy!
